The company, with head office based in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, is a privately owned firm which is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of alcoholic beverages. It was founded in 1896 by Don José Ruiz-Berdejo y Veyan, an original Almacenista at Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza. The company's business operation is primarily involved in providing Fine Sherry wines as well as distilled spirits, including neutral spirits and ethyl alcohol used in blended wines and distilled liquor. The product range includes bottled wines and spirits, brandy and brandy spirits, cocktails, liquors, wine coolers, and wines. These products are provided and distributed to a wide range of customers within the domestic market.
